Good news, The Harbor is getting an upgrade this summer.  The Amboy Community Unit School District is excited to announce that new bleachers for Home and Visitor will be installed this summer. There will be approximately 755 seats on the Home side and 162 on the Visitors side.  They will be ADA-compliant, with ramp access, wheelchair-accessible seating, and aisles with handrails.   Another positive aspect is that the Lee County Fair Board was able to remove and reuse the old bleachers at the fairgrounds.  

The construction process has already started.  If you attend a track meet this Spring, you will need to either bring a chair to sit in or take advantage of some small bleacher sections that the Lee County Fair Board has loaned us, which are located on the gravel on the West side of the field.  

We know this slight inconvenience is worth the improvement for all visitors to The Harbor. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
